SYSTEL is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data. In accordance with applicable data protection legislation. For this purpose, this privacy policy (hereinafter the «Privacy Policy») is intended to explain to you how SYSTEL collects, processes, protects and potentially shares your personal data of its users (hereinafter the “User” or the “Users”) visiting or using the features and services offered on the Site. This Privacy Policy also informs you about your rights and how to exercise them.

As part of an order placed by a User on the Site, the Personal Data collected and processed are as follows:

If the User wishes to make a request for information or a quote, the Personal Data collected and processed are as follows:

4. Purposes of the collection and processing of Personal Data

Nevertheless, the Data Controller is entitled to refuse your request or to keep some of your Personal Data in order to comply with certain legal obligations.
  • Right to restriction of processing: you have the right to ask the Data Controller to limit the way in which your Personal Data is processed.
  • Right to data portability: you have the right to request to receive the Personal Data you have provided to the Data Controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, to transmit this data to another data controller. However, this right is subject to the following two conditions: (i) the processing is based on your consent or the performance of a contract and (ii) is carried out using automated processes. You can exercise these rights by sending your request by e-mail to systel@systel-international.com and the Data Controller will make every effort to respond to your request as quickly as possible.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority depending on the Member State in which you are located.

8. Shelf life

The Data Controller will keep your Personal Data only for the period necessary for the purpose of the processing for which this data was communicated or to comply with certain legal and regulatory obligations.

9. Transfer of Personal Data outside the European Economic Area

The Data Controller may have to transfer your Personal Data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) whose legislation offers a different level of protection in terms of Personal Data. In the event that your Personal Data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer will be made under the guise of the signature of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. These clauses are intended to provide guarantees regarding the transfer of Personal Data and are used by the Data Controller both to secure the said transfer and to comply with data protection legislation.

The Data Controller has put in place reasonable technical, organizational and structural measures to ensure an adequate level of protection of your Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing as well as to prevent accidental loss, the destruction or occurrence of any damage.

In the event that your Personal Data is transferred to third parties, the Data Controller will ensure that your Personal Data will be processed only according to its instructions.

The Company undertakes to impose the same security requirements on its subcontractors who must use appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of Users’ Personal Data.

When the Data Controller has given you a password or when you yourself have chosen a password allowing you access to certain parts of its Site, it is your responsibility to keep this password confidential.

3. How long are cookies stored?

The Company offers the User the opportunity to consult its pages on social networks through buttons (LinkedIn and Twitter).
